Grew Up in Sheboygan? What do you Think now?

I know that I do a lot of posts about the city itself.  I really find it hard to forget about all the changes that I have seen in my short lifetime.  When I got a letter (contact us about anything) from a man that grew up in Sheboygan and complimented me on the blog and how it was nice to read about the city I thought to myself “what do other people that grew up here think”?

That is where this post comes in.  I have seen such a change in the city’s crime, housing, businesses and jobs that I really cannot believe it.  I feel like I have seen changes in a city that would normally take 100 years, in just under 30.

I would like to know what you think if you grew up in Sheboygan, moved away, still hear things about the city and what you think about how things changed.  You can just leave a comment here.

  1. I lived in Sheboygan for almost 40 years and just hope they can leave the southside beach “unimproved.”

  2. Thanks for the comment Allison. What part of the southside beach are you referring too?

Are you surprised where the city is now in relation to when you were a kid?
