Very Windy Day = Very Trashy Scenery
The other day, yes the very windy one, I was driving on the south side of Sheboygan and notice a large amount of litter and garbage throughout the street gutters and lawn areas. I mean more than normal. I realize that it was quite windy and nobody is about to go chasing their trash down the street, but what is wrong with making sure it’s contained?
Some might have been coming from areas around the WalMart on the south side where dumpster might have been left open or even just random litter along the train tracks, who knows.
I understand that with wind like what we had the other day it can be tough to maintain a hold on trash, but it was really an eye opener of how much garbage is actually just floating around the city.
Windy days like that make it easier to see what’s usually hiding in the long grass and what have you. I think that litter patrol would be a good service business to offer the city of Sheboygan. At least we know they aren’t going to pay already over paid city employees to pick up trash.
What do you think?
