I post a lot about the faults around the city (i.e. crime), but I know that’s not all there is to Sheboygan and nearby communities.  There are plenty of good things about the County as well.

In my opinion, the golf courses is a huge thing for this county.  Even though I do not golf, I still think that it is important to have a “niche” for the place you live.  Having one that brings in $$$ every other year or so is a great start.

The large park areas and wilderness areas (Evergreen Park) are a plus for people to be able to go and relax, see nature and enjoy getting outdoors even when you live in the “big” city.

One of the things that I always remembered growing up here was the lake.  Being able to go to the lake and just sit and relax on the beach in the sun.  Take a long walk along the pier and enjoy the day.  Now, you might have to deal with the smell, but you get the picture.
