What Should Be Done With Taylor Heights?

Remember the old WalMart building? How about Hardee’s and Piggly Wiggly at Taylor Heights? Now that those places are empty, what should the city of Sheboygan do with them?
I really find it hard to imagine the owners of the Taylor Heights property can leave it as empty as it is this long. The economy is junk and rising energy prices are forcing people to make quick decisions to save money. Why would anyone leave the property empty if they didn’t have to?

What do you think would be good in this location? Maybe a developer could throw up some apartment type condos or even a small sub division, right? It’s actually a nice area now that WalMart has hit the road. If a guy were to remove all the buildings and pavement up there, it could be a nice place for a residential, in my opinion.
What do you think?
