If you don’t live in Sheboygan I would like to hear from you.  If you have been to the city or county, but not lived here, what does the city look like from someone that hasn’t been tainted by living here?

Believe it or not, there are people that visit here all the time, but they haven’t ever lived here.  I just want to know what they think about our city.  Did you have any bad experiences?  Poor attitudes, bad customer service, witnessed a crime or public display of disorderly conduct?

Sheboygan tourists listen up!  If you are reading this from Blue Harbor, tell me what you think about Sheboygan.  Even if you are reading this from the Motel 8, I want your story too.

As a resident of Sheboygan County all my life (almost 30 years), I still kind of wonder what tourists to this lovely place on Earth do when they are here.  Everyone in any city in all of the world knows that they would NOT ever visit the city they live in if they were tourists, that’s just the way it is and you know it’s because you already know all the bad things, etc.

But when someone comes to your city, Sheboygan or not, what are they doing?  There are camping areas, plenty of hotels (although most not very tourist friendly), golf, fishing and other things I am sure.  Do these tourists ever go back home and say, “man, I cannot wait to visit Sheboygan again!”?  Why do I think that they don’t?

Could it be because I know about the crime problem or the poor attitudes of just about anyone around the city?  Bad customer service at hotels, restaurants, gas stations and more?  I do know the “ins and outs” of Sheboygan, so I wonder what tourists really think.
